Garlic - Brain desynchronizer

In a search for a natural cure for a minor ailment, I found (from internet), that I can take a clove of Garlic and honey, once everyday, for curing that ailment.

I started taking it in the night, before sleep. On the third day, I distinctly realize, there is a change in my thinking patterns (or state of mind), post eating the Garlic clove. During that time, my mind wavers, and doesn't seem to be in right sense.

Then I looked upon the internet, to understand, whether it's Garlic's effect or something else.

I got really shocked to know, that, Garlic indeed is a brain desynchronizer. Taken in regular does for long time, may create permanent brain disorders (like smoking for body). Because, I have been hearing lot of goodies about garlic, so far, I couldn't actually digest this news.

There is no doubt that Garlic is a medicine, (antoxidant, blood purifier etc.). But be cautious in dosage.

I suggest you to try this yourself (One garlic clove before bedtime), and decide on the consumption.

Die hard - CFA

One week more for the exam. My CFA preparations are going on a high. After a long time, I'm seeing myself behaving so sincere, studying for the exam.

Being sincere and doing hardwork need not be boring. Somehow it's not boring for me. I'm enjoying the CFA preparation and I could feel the enriching transformation happening with me from a hardcore chemical engineer to the budding financial proffessional..............

Meet u soon............... with loads of interim experience...............

Back from the trip

Yeah!! I'm back. My trip to Faridabad, Kanpur and ankleshwar was nice and fascinating.
Yet, Not many insights.
I used to get lot of insights when I travel, many perennial misconceptions used to get cleared. one such insight is here....

On the way back to the hotel in faridabad from the factory, the tyre got punctured and the driver needed some time to change with spare one. I just rested on the shade near a hut, while speaking with the old man of the hut.

On the discussion, I came to know, that he is farmer by occupation. He has two cows also. The farm land behind the hut is owned by him.
The factory near the land has offered 1.5 crores for the land, but he has refused. He told that he don't know what to do with 1.5 crores cash, and he also added that, he need this land when he have to marry his (two) daughters. He said he is happy with dal roti, he is able to earn and he is living a satisfied life.
He doesn't go to movies or so. He doesn't have any vehicle. All his relations are in the sorrounding village. He works in the farm and live with his family.

It's as simple as that. But somehow, I couldn't digest..........

What do u say??

Mumbaian Holi

Let me sum it up.....

Around 9:30AM, I got the knock in my door by the kids from the society. I was dragged down and was drenched with colours. There was an arrangement of music, continous water in a hose pipe, and 3Kg of colors (look like organic ones) .

For some time, I watched the kids play..........

I found the elderly(s) of the society gathered on an anonymous flat on the construction site. I was also called there. I just went there to have a look on what's happening........ 5 bottles of blender's pride, 2 bottles of rum and countless number of beer....... at 10:00 in the morning........

Some one said, these are the substitutes of Bhang in the north.

However, I escaped in to the kids....... There were few ladies watching the dance and celebration from the corner. I don't find them playing at all. It's more enjoyable with the kids than to have the drunkyards speaking politics around........ They also came down later and displayed a grumpy dance.

About Noon (12:00), the all of them resigned....... and slowly left the place. As the place was about to become empty, the ladies occupied the place and started holi......... they played for one hour or so and left...........

Whatsoever, the celebration was rejuvenating.........

The Holi transformation

Till my adolescence, I had never sniffed a bit about holi. Actually, this particular is simply absent in Tamilnadu. In the first year of my lucknow stint, I had known about Holi but wasn't prepared. Rather I don't have many personal friends. Those itchy colleagues suddenly appeared in the morning and just soaked the colors on my body. That was really embarrasing. I strongly supported the anti-holi mission then, that practically escapists try to emphasize upon....

1. Colours are harmful to health.
2. Yeh bacchon ka khel hai......
3. Teens tend to misbehave on the name of holi
4. The usage of Narcotic "Bang" is extensive and open....
may be even more. As I gradually socialized (in to the lucknow city), next year, I played a bit of holi with some of my friends. But in the third and fourth year, I'm one of the spiritfull and vigorous enthusiast of Holi. Beyond that, I started expecting (holi). The colors, the sweets, the drowsy bang, the mind numbing excitement..... all this make HOLI at LUCKNOW, an unforgettable experience.

We roam around the city in bikes, visit each other's home, play holi with their family members, fill the stomach with gujia and the fun was becoming unlimited.

Kolkata is not so good in celebrating Holi. I really missed the Lucknow kind of Holi. (May be I didn't get much time to socialize in Kolkata.)

I'm eagerly awaiting to witness the celebration this time (for the first time in Mumbai).

What to do??

When I blog, I feel guilty about "not studying".

When I study, I feel guilty about "not blogging".

I'm not doing either of them properly.........
