What to do??

When I blog, I feel guilty about "not studying".

When I study, I feel guilty about "not blogging".

Jai Ho!!!!!!

A legendary masterpiece cannot be made just like that. It takes years of hardwork, selfless indulgence, and high quality self governance. AR Rehman along with other oscar winners deserve them in all respects and would be delivering us more.
I don't worry about which religion he is from, which country he is from, does his music actually indian or whom do he dedicates his award???
I've been listening his music for a long time now and most of the times, I've lost myself in his music. I could sense the creativity, talent, imagination, adeptness, synchronisation work in tandem to deliver great music from his hands.
I appreciate his work and I'm glad that a award of such honour is going to right hands and at right time...........
Jai Ho!!!!

Indian Rain in Oscar

Like ever other indian, immensely proud and pleasured for the reciept of Oscars.

Thank you world for the recognition.

Rehman & Resul deserves them and more..................

CFA

In the recent past, I've been feeling a bit empty. Felt like doing something useful. Looking for something worth to put me in.

I noticed, the accounts manager in my office was unusually happy on Wednesday last week. On deliberation, she shared that she scored high percentile in the first year of CFA exam, i.e., chartered financial analyst. Offlate, me too has sensed the need of having financial acumen. I enquired more about the exam.

She told me that

This is a three year course conducted by CFA institute, US. This is a universally accepted degree for investment professionals. we got to pay 1000 dollars, initially and exam fees for exams. If u get through the exams, the certification is equivalent to a MBA from IIM.

me: How much time you need to prepare this exam?

S: Six months of thorough preparation (an average of 2 to 3 hr daily). U may require a bit more, considering 1. that u don't have an accounts background. 2. you would have lost touch of your academics in the last 7 years.... 3. Chemical engineers are known to be week in balance sheets!!!
(ha ha ha). OK, I think, if u r really interested, U can try december exams.

me: !!! Ok, when to pay and how to pay?

S: Any time. But today is the last date to pay without fine for June and december exams. Can be paid thro' a credit card online; I had just paid for the second year exam thro' net.

me: Then, open the site again, let me see the site.

She opened the site on the net. I took out my card and paid for the june exams in a jiffy.

oh!! U should have seen her face then.

To decide and pay 55K for a 3 yr course, that too of a perfectly contrasting subject of study in approximately half a minute of time, !!! She gasped, a best of luck to me.

Buddy, I got to studdy!!!!!!!

Football on the run

After eight years or so, yesterday I had a chance to keep my legs on the football. These are kids who play in the complex (may be from 10 to 19 years) daily. Yesterday I introduced myself to them and had a 20 minute game with them. Oh!!! It was a real pleasure. Though I didn't get the touch, I used to have during my university level games. But I played with enough charm that, all the kids had instantly transformed into my fans. The only thing I don't like about them is that - some of them called me uncle.

Side effect:
It is natural, that U get enormous pain, If u straight away go and flex ur muscles like this in a football match. I couldn't sleep the whole night owing to pain, inspite of spraying relish, applying zandu balm etc.... Whatever, the game is worth it.

The Boss effect

My boss has a bad habit.

He calls 3 or 4 people at a time, and discuss with only one or two. Rest of the people have no work at all, in the discussion and have to just appreciate the material things available at his room. It's difficult to do some thing else also. The way he speaks, our brain (those who doesnot take part in discussion) does not remain in 100% consciousness, we get a hallucinating effect. I sometime scribble, sometime see the ceiling of the room, sometime forcibily take part in the discussion and get the nose cut. From the beginning of this year, I decided to scribble in the dairy in same page such that, we can try to decipher, the way the brain wavers when my boss speaks.

Here is those scribling ....... :). This is for sure, If I'm told to draw like this, I'll definitely fail. This is a collection of work of hallucinated brain on many sittings in my boss room. The credit goes to him.

Worried or wondering about

Sometime back, may be a year or so, I saw muesli (with fruits) for the first time in the shop. Being a health freak, I bought it immediately. I found the taste was yummy too. I regularly started having it as breakfast and even recommended to many people.

Recently, I found a new variety of Kelloggs (the Oat flakes) in the shop. I decided to try that one. I found this one yummy too. I switched over to kellogs. Next time onwards, when I went to shop, I picked up kellogs. When my friend asked me, “why don’t u have muesli?”, I replied, “The taste is not good in museli.”

I’m just wondering or worrying about my flickering nature of taste. Why is this happening with me?
